Bio
I am a daughter, a sister and a Biological Sciences nerd who's been torn between becoming a teacher or an oncologist for the longest amount of time, finding my way through this perfect middle ground.
As a student at UCT, I've been a SHAWCO volunteer tutor for a year now, tutoring Grade 9 English and Life Orientation and this year, grade 8 and 9 Maths. What that experience has taught me so far is that students don't all learn in the same way and to produce results, as a tutor, you need to be patient and adaptive to the student's need. Their success and progress is more rewarding than anything!
Education
• Matriculated in 2015 with 4 distinctions and I am now studying towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy & Physiology and Biochemistry (2nd year).

• I was presented with the Journalist of The Year, as well as Duxie (Student) of the Year in 2014, my grade 11 year. I grade 12, 2015, I won the Top Performance in English Home Language and Accounting.

English
I received the award for top English Home Language in grades 10 and 12. I find English to be an intricate language, and the secret to excelling is to broaden your vocabulary. The more you know, the more you can understand, comprehend and interpret.
Life Sciences (Biology)
I absolutely love Biology, human biology in particular, which is one of my majors; the way physical and chemical systems work and integrate with one another to create life never ceases to amaze me or pique my interest!
