About Monique

English is my home language and I have a good grasp of the language and all its components. I am an avid reader and I believe that I excelled at English in high school partially due to this fact.

I was a Senior Lecturer in the English Dept of the University of the Western Cape for 25 years. I have taught courses and supervised at all undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The syllabus included traditional, canonical and more modern works of English, American and African literature.

I achieved an 80%+ aggregate across my entire high school career at Hilton College whilst receiving my academic honors (the highest level of academic award at the institution).

I achieved an average of 76% on my NSC, and have been consistently writing essays as part of my university studies ever since leaving high school.

About Tanique

I am currently obtaining my TEFL course certification. I believe that improving a students ability in English will help create confidence and English plays a big role in all other subjects at school.

About Kayla

English in primary school was one of my favourite subjects. I believe that doing well in this subject while young is vital for improved oral and reading capabilities as one gets older.

About Mudinda

I moved from doing English Home Language in primary to FAL in high school. I was very good at HL which makes me excellent in FAL. I love teaching this subject, and I got 82% for it in high school.

About Monde

I hold a BA Degree Majoring in English and Psychology. I have experience in Blog writing, I have served as News Editor for my University's Media Society where I also dealt with writing Scripts. I worked as an Assistant Teacher and also in the Exams Department as an admin and Examination Assistant.

About Déna

Besides being the eldest child of two highly experienced english teachers, I attended school in the UAE where I had exposure to Cambridge, Pearson, Edexcel & AP English. I then completed high school in South Africa with the NSC curriculum.
