I obtained my LLB degree at the end of 2017. This is my second degree, my first being a BA. I tutored for my university (Rhodes) for 3 years, specifically for the law department. I have the knowledge and the skill to tutor law.
I am majoring in law and have completed six modules in the subject. In 1st year I studied 2 introductory modules and attained distinctions for both. In 2nd year I studied law of persons, legal research, human rights and interpretation of law.
I received distinctions for Introduction to Law, Foundations of South African Law, Delict, Family, Property Law and Law of Persons.
In my final year in 2016, I was a first year LLB tutor and I did extremely well, having achieved good feedback and a result of 92% as a tutor. I believe I have the skills to tutor to the best of my ability.
I am pleased to offer my skills in The Law of Succession, Law of Trusts, and Administration of Deceased Estates. I have scored high distinctions in ERF 222 and TBS 410.
I managed to pass all these courses and I have also tutored most of them. While studying these courses, many students expressed an interest in forming study groups with me in order to assist them in the areas they were struggling.
I have achieved Distinctions in every Law course taken in my first through to 3rd year in the LL.B degree. I can tutor any subject of Law up until 3rd year. I also studied law at Cornell University, an Ivy league school in the U.S for a semester.
I have tutored Introduction to Law and Law of Persons and Family while at varsity. I can also tutoring Civil Procedure as I do a lot of Magistrate's court work. Doing work in the insurance industry, I have very good research and presentation skills.
