I would like to help students in adopting the correct approach for this subject, so that they become comfortable with and able to excel in Math Literacy.

I have been tutoring two grade 1 learners and helping them with Maths and have therefore developed the necessary skills to help students in this particular subject.

I am a holder of a BSc degree in Computer Science from Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth. I am currently teaching Mathematics grade 8-11 at Oude Molen THS. I have experience teaching matric Mathematics and Mathematics Literacy.

While I never took Maths Literacy as a subject in school I feel I have a competent understanding of all the sections within the subject. Maths is a great passion of mine that I am pursuing at university level.

I have passion for Mathematics & Statistics. l have a diploma in Education and BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and 3 years of teaching experience.

I did pure Maths in high school and found it very interesting. I am currently assisting high school learners with pure Maths and Maths Lit.

I started Maths Lit in Gr.12 and excelled (94% NSC, 3rd in province). Having a background in pure maths, I can approach the content from a different perspective and ensure that problem solving is done simply, but thoroughly.

About Malebo

I enjoyed Mathematics Literacy in high school. I was one of the best students in the class and was open to assisting my classmates. The subject requires a great foundation of understanding and engagement, which is what I prioritise in order to reach a higher level of achievement.

I have a BEng Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria. I have did mathematics till my second year of varsity (as is required).

This subject requires practice practice practice! There’s only so much theory you can rely on, so our focus will be on past papers and looking at where we went wrong.
