About Robert

I am currently studying a BSc with a varied collection of intensive maths based courses. I enjoy teaching and have taught disadvantaged pupils as a tutor on a regular basis over the past year. I value patience and mutual respect as a teacher.

About Andrew

Mathematics is definitely one of my strengths in terms of performance and teaching. I tutored a fellow matric student in 2014 who went from 50's to 88%. I tutored a student throughout last year (grade 10) and another the previous year (grade 12).

Maths was my favourite subject at school however my matric result is not a true reflection of my ability. I achieved two distinctions (85% and 83%) for both math courses completed at UCT in 2016. I also have an AP maths certificate metric level.

I really enjoyed Math at school and I had a good grasp of the subject. I have a degree in Financial Maths and am now doing my Masters. I really enjoy spending time with people and helping them to understand the subject and hopefully grow to enjoy it.

I used to struggle with Maths as a child but I learned if you put enough effort into practicing solving Mathematical problems over and over again you will eventually see that most problems are the same with just different numbers.

I like tutoring grade 11 and 12 maths. When I finished school I became a volunteer for two year before I went university, I was helping grade 12 and 11 around my township. Also in university I did MATHS I and MATHS II.
