I am a very hardworking and passionate individual who prides himself in his work. I like to balance my life with extra curricular activities such as soccer as well as hanging out with friends.
I've always considered myself as having natural leadership abilities, which has resulted in me holding many leadership positions in my schooling career, namely headboy in primary and high school as well as captaining the KZN soccer team. I also sat in the Residence Tutors' Council in 2016/7. My leadership positions have taught me how to deal with different people and I am naturally very patient.

Accounting
Having done accounting at school and also at University, I found that the jump between 1st year accounting and 2nd year accounting is usually too big in terms of complexity and Accounts 2 is usually the reason students drop the CA route.
Financial Reporting
The jump from IFRS for SME's to Full IFRS was expectedly big and required time to get used to. A lot of the content was not new but built on prior year foundations. Time management is key as the work load can be overwhelming but is manageable.
Financial Accounting
Having had a solid foundation in high school, 1st year accounting principles were more manageable to grasp. Accounts 1 is a key component of University accounting as it exposes you to Financial Reporting which is the cornerstone of the CA route.
Accounting
Principles taught in high school accounting are very critical to any prospective university accounting student. 1st year Accounting takes these principles as assumed knowledge and it is therefore key to have a good understanding of the concepts.
Soccer
Soccer has been passed on in my family from my great grandfather and is something ive always been passionate about and held close to my heart - the games is very rewarding both on and off the pitch and ive made many friends through the beautiful game
