I grew up in a bilingual household, namely, Afrikaans and English. I also had Afrikaans as a subject during high school which has given me a more complex understanding of the language structure and how to teach it to others.

Being black, people were always baffled with my ability to learn Afrikaans. However, I would always say that there's nothing hard work and 7de Laan can't do. I enjoyed Afrikaans and i want to reciprocate that same enthusiasm to young learners.
