I can speak Afrikaans fluently - at school, I took Afrikaans as a First Additional Language (IEB) and received both the oral and written Afrikaans prizes in Grade 12 whilst obtaining 89% for my final Matric IEB exam.
I took Afrikaans as a subject up until the end of Matric. I also partook in some Afrikaans Olympiads during my school career.

I did Afrikaans 1st additional language in high school, and with an Afrikaans father, I speak it very often. I also find this an easy language and would love to help those struggling with it.
I grew up in an Afrikaans environment, with both my parents speaking Afrikaans as a 1st or 2nd language, as well as many of my family members. I therefore found Afrikaans to be one of my 'easiest' subjects at school.
I would love to be able to expand others' language abilities. Grammar is an incredibly important part of language and this is my favourite aspect of it.
I took Afrikaans for my whole school career. I enjoy tutoring and shedding light in areas in which people do not understand, especially for children. I am willing to tutor grade 5 and below. I also have language books for primary school practise.
I have 3 years experience as an Afrikaans tutor. My father is Afrikaans and therefore I have a natural ear for it. I received 86% for Afrikaans First Additional Language in Matric (2011).
I have been teaching and tutoring language and literacy across a wide range of ages and levels. I achieved very good results for Afrikaans in Matric.
