Since 2022, I’ve been a winter school assistant teacher for maths in my hometown’s high schools. I’ve learned that tutoring isn’t just about content—it’s about mentorship. By guiding and supporting students, I help them build confidence and reach their full potential.

I graduated from high school with 93% in Mathematics. I achieved over 80% for both first year maths courses that I completed at the University of Cape Town. I completed a PGCE in Mathematics in 2018 - during which I taught Grade 8, 9 and 10 learners at 2 different schools

About Lauren

I have had a passion for figures since a very young age and have excelled in Maths for many years. I took Maths and Advanced Maths in Matric and also took a Maths course at university.

I am a Civil Engineering student and feel I can use the skills I have learned to help others. It is also a great way for a student to earn money. I believe Maths is very important to grasp from as early as possible.

About Andrew

Mathematics is definitely one of my strengths in terms of performance and teaching. I tutored a fellow matric student in 2014 who went from 50's to 88%. I tutored a student throughout last year (grade 10) and another the previous year (grade 12).

About Caitlyn

Maths was my favourite subject at school however my matric result is not a true reflection of my ability. I achieved two distinctions (85% and 83%) for both math courses completed at UCT in 2016. I also have an AP maths certificate metric level.

About Bryony

I really enjoyed Math at school and I had a good grasp of the subject. I have a degree in Financial Maths and am now doing my Masters. I really enjoy spending time with people and helping them to understand the subject and hopefully grow to enjoy it.
